UK FMCG Sales Director

DCS Group, a renowned Distributor, Manufacturer, and Exporter with partnerships with global giants, is seeking an experienced UK FMCG Sales Director to spearhead our major retail partnerships and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic account planning for top retailers, creating high-impact Joint Business Plans that meet customer and DCS objectives
- Take ownership of sales and profitability targets for major accounts, maximising category growth through insight-driven recommendations and flawless execution
- Build, nurture, and expand high-level relationships across Commercial, Buying, and Category teams within each retailer
- Leverage data analysis and category insights to influence assortment, promotional strategies, and shelf positioning in line with each retailer's goals
- Monitor account health, manage budgets, and provide ongoing insights to refine and adapt strategies for continued success
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing major retail accounts in FMCG, with a track record of hitting and exceeding sales and margin goals
- Excellent negotiation skills, combined with strong financial acumen and the ability to manage complex account planning
- A deep understanding of retail trends, data-driven strategy, and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact initiatives
