Job Title: Community Support Worker

Job Summary

Frontline Health Professionals is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support children and young people in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to connect with young people, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic, one-to-one or team-based support to children and young people.
  • Manage mental health needs and challenging behaviours, helping young people develop coping and self-management skills.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically, building positive relationships.
  • Assist with daily living, educational, and recreational activities, promoting independence.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with team members to ensure quality care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in therapeutic care, mental health support, and managing challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills and previous residential care experience.
  • Flexible for 8-12 hour shifts; some roles may require live-in, 24-hour support.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Health and Social Care) are required.
