We are seeking a Youth Development Assistant to join Proud to Care Devon's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a 13-year-old girl with ASD, promoting her confidence and self-esteem through various activities, including cinema trips, bowling, swimming, zoo visits, and theatre. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.

To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. A strong understanding of anxiety and ASD in children is essential. Flexible working hours, primarily on weekends, are available. This role is part of the Information Advice and Guidance Service, which supports disabled people to employ their own staff, and aligns with the Disability Confident employer scheme. Estimated annual salary: £23,500 - £26,500.
