Job Overview

G4S Business Unit: US Youth Services is seeking an experienced Security Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, install, and maintain electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
  2. Collaborate with site project manager and site manager to ensure seamless execution of tasks and meeting deadlines.
  3. Conduct regular surveys to identify opportunities for additional work.
  4. Assist tech support engineer and project manager in pre-production test environments.
  5. Manage subcontractors and assist with their site attendance for reactive and PPM works.
  6. Accurately collect and record site hardware and software configuration information.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience installing or servicing electronic security systems.
  • Broad IT knowledge, including software installation and networking principles.
  • Basic electrical principles and component knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Able to work irregular hours and be on a 24/7 call rota.
  • 5-year checkable employment history and right to work in the UK/EU unrestricted.
