New Product Introduction Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our committed and professional NPI team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the technical development of custom product solutions, ensuring smooth and timely transfer of completed projects to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and operate a formal NPI process and recording system
  • Provide technical support in the development of custom product solutions
  • Assist with pre-sales technical assistance for Electrical applications
  • Input data to the company ERP system in support of the technical department
  • Liaise with Customers, suppliers and other internal departments as required
  • Assist with authoring product specifications and instructions
  • Manage the preparation of technical reports in support of projects
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or above in a relevant electronic engineering discipline
  • Understanding of Agile or Prince2 systems
  • Experience in leading or being part of an NPI team
  • Knowledge of current legislation and its effects on NPI
