Job Title: Data Protection Advisor

Job Summary: Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Advisor to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company remains compliant with all areas of data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice and support to senior management on data protection matters.
  2. Offer guidance to employees and customers on data protection best practices.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation, including GDPR.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data protection registers.
  5. Process and respond to Subject Access Requests (SARs) in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Investigate and process alleged data protection breaches, identifying associated risks and implementing measures to protect the business.
  7. Support the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
  8. Prepare reports for meetings and assist with minute-taking.

Requirements:

  1. A recognized qualification in data protection or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of data protection principles and their application to a business.
  3. Experience of working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  4. A valid driving license.

Working Hours and Salary: 37 hours per week, £32,000 per annum.
