Job Title: Data Protection Advisor
Job Summary: Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Advisor to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company remains compliant with all areas of data protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support to senior management on data protection matters.
- Offer guidance to employees and customers on data protection best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation, including GDPR.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data protection registers.
- Process and respond to Subject Access Requests (SARs) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Investigate and process alleged data protection breaches, identifying associated risks and implementing measures to protect the business.
- Support the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports for meetings and assist with minute-taking.
Requirements:
- A recognized qualification in data protection or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of data protection principles and their application to a business.
- Experience of working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
- A valid driving license.
Working Hours and Salary: 37 hours per week, £32,000 per annum.
