Job Title: Cancer Services FIT Negative Administrator

About the Role: We are seeking an organized and skilled individual to join our Cancer Services team as a FIT Negative Administrator. This role will support the Colorectal Cancer team with administration duties, including data collection, spreadsheet management, and patient record maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and organize data collection to support the FIT Negative process.
  • Prepare and input data into spreadsheets to maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize available information technology to efficiently maintain patient records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Colorectal Cancer team, including responding to patient inquiries and managing correspondence.
  • Liaise with coordinators and management to ensure appointment bookings, cancellations, and service redirections are processed within the required timescale.

Requirements:

  • Good standard of general education with four GCSEs Grade 3(D) or above, including English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Evidence of IT skills and healthcare information systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience working in an administration/secretarial capacity in a healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection issues within a healthcare environment.
