Job Title: Digital Forecasting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Digital Forecasting Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in developing and owning medium to long term budget plans, working with key stakeholders to gather valuable insights.

  • Develop and own medium to long term budget plans, working with key stakeholders to gather value adding insights.
  • Owning and developing volume forecasts covering medium-short term time periods.
  • Developing new forecasts around total volumes to include IVR/Chat Bot/Self Served volumes.
  • Working with operation and commercial colleagues to understand performance, iterating forecasts, providing insights around variance and drivers of variance.
  • Communicating where one off events are observed and subsequently dismissed for forecasting purposes.
  • Developing packs to provide stakeholders with factual and relevant insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights to inform forecasting decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns.

Requirements:

  • Experience in forecasting for digital channels.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of different types of forecasting/planning methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with analytical ability to provide actionable insights.
