About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will supervise a team of care assistants and support the clinical team in delivering person-centred care to residents in one of our care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate a team of care assistants to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to provide comprehensive care plans and assessments.
- Maintain resident dignity and preferences at all times.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
- A warm and compassionate approach to care, with a commitment to individualised care.
