Care Governance Specialist Job Description

About the Position

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse RN (General) to join our team as a Regional Clinical Development Nurse.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the improvement of care standards in our care homes, working closely with the Regional Director and senior clinical staff to develop and implement practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and improve the quality of care delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of clinical governance strategies
  • Supporting the performance of care homes and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Collaborating with senior clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Analysing data and providing recommendations for improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse RN (General)
  • Experience working in a care home environment
  • Strong clinical governance knowledge and experience
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
