Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and motivated individual to work with children and young people in Wakefield Metropolitan District Council at York Villas Children's Home in Wakefield.

This role involves effective supervision, induction, and good training for all staff. The work requires shift patterns, including weekends, waking nights, sleep-ins, on-call and Bank Holidays.

The successful candidate will be committed to improving the life chances of the children and young people we care for.

York Villas provides full-time care for young people up to the age of eighteen who have a learning disability.

A Diploma 3 in Children and Young People is required or willingness to achieve this qualification when appointed.

An enhanced DBS check and two references are necessary for this position.

Salary: £25,000 per annum
