We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Weekend Receptionist at Shenley Wood Retirement Village. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the village's commitment to delivering ExtraCare's mission.

Job Summary

This part-time position involves working 8 hours per week, with 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a welcoming and helpful telephone service, maintaining a clean and tidy reception area, and working closely with the Administrator to provide typing and photocopying services.

The estimated salary for this position is £60 per hour.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to telephone inquiries from residents, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Ensure that all visitors and contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency.
  3. Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, reporting any issues to the relevant staff member.
  4. Support the Administrator in providing typing and photocopying services, as well as ordering stationery on a weekly basis.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and able to work independently. A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when required are also essential.
