Substance Misuse Recovery Hub Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Recovery Hub team in the West Midlands Region. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical support to our prisons and patient groups.

The Recovery Hub is a new innovation aimed at enhancing the clinical support provided to our patients. As a Clinical Lead, you will be an integral part of the Recovery Hub team, bringing your advanced clinical skills, leadership, and knowledge to the role.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment and interventions for patients.

As a Clinical Lead, you will also be responsible for sharing your experience and knowledge with the nursing team through clinical supervision sessions. You will work in partnership with other services, such as psychosocial, mental health, and community providers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and will be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to have a legal right to work in the UK and will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical leader in the delivery of practice nursing services
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and interventions
  • Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness
  • Share experience and knowledge with the nursing team through clinical supervision sessions
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with current NMC registration
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification and nurse prescribing
  • Clinical supervision training and experience
  • Significant experience working autonomously post-registration as a Non-Medical Prescriber

The salary for this role is up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
