Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our physiotherapy team in the North East region.

Company Overview

Physiotherapy Matters Ltd is an independent quality physiotherapy provider committed to delivering exceptional client experiences across various services, including occupational physiotherapy, private MSK clinics, older people physiotherapy, and NHS community MSK services.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience, with benefits including pension contribution, private medical insurance, 6.6 weeks' annual leave, CPD funding, travel expenses, cycle to work scheme, and wellness program linked to Better Health at Work Award.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of clinical specialists, ensuring robust clinical governance, professional standards, and adherence to the Healthcare Standards Act 2000.

Clinical Leadership and Management Responsibilities

This includes:

  • Business delivery and operational management
  • Quality management
  • Clinical leadership
  • Business planning alongside the Business Manager and Managing Director
  • HR for the clinical team
  • Line management
  • Contract management

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist in MSK physiotherapy
  • Clinical leadership experience
  • Operational management skills
  • Strong organisational abilities
