Job Description

The Commercial Services Group is seeking a seasoned Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager to join its Landscape Services brand in Tonbridge, Kent.

Role Overview:

This role requires a strong background and expertise in grounds maintenance and landscaping operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the services delivered for customers and the wellbeing and requirements of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and oversee the programmed maintenance of all works within their geographical area, including schools, parishes, roundabouts, highways, waste sites, and ad-hoc works – all to contractual specification.
  • Liaise with customers daily and resolve any concerns, difficulties, or issues, and record progress on the CRM system.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and attend customer and site meetings.
  • Price and supply quotations for ad-hoc works.
  • Plan and programme work schedules via COMMS 360, as well as lead the way with all digital processes and software, providing support and guidance to the teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a contract management position preferably in grounds maintenance.
  • Proficient understanding of contract agreements and risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior managers and stakeholders.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Understanding and ability to interpret specifications, plans, quotations, and customer requests.
