About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Landscape Services, a specialist provider of outdoor maintenance and management services. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our customers' grounds, including grass cutting, border works, and hedge cuttings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring health and safety practices are always maintained and identifying risks, escalating issues to senior staff as necessary
  • Completing daily works for our customer contracts and maintaining an excellent level of customer service
  • Carrying out safety checks on equipment and using all equipment and materials correctly and safely
  • Regularly liaising with customers and resolving any concerns, difficulties, or issues, reporting problems and actioning instructions as required
  • Supporting inclement weather works, such as snow clearing or flooded areas

Requirements

  • Grounds Maintenance knowledge, ideally in a similar role
  • Knowledge of horticulture and operational procedure
  • Demonstrable mowing and related experience
  • Demonstrable machinery maintenance knowledge and skill
  • Ability to commute to Tonbridge for work
