About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Landscape Services, a specialist provider of outdoor maintenance and management services. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our customers and staff, while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily works for customer contracts, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and report any issues to senior staff.
  • Use equipment and materials correctly and safely, adhering to company standards.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any concerns or issues, providing excellent customer service.
  • Respond to inclement weather works, such as snow clearing or flooded areas.

Requirements

  • Grounds Maintenance knowledge, ideally in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of horticulture and operational procedures.
  • Demonstrable mowing and related experience.
  • Demonstrable machinery maintenance knowledge and skill.
  • Ability to commute to Tonbridge for work.
