We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Gloo, a leading engineering organisation specialising in cutting-edge solutions for mission-critical operations. With a strong presence in the UK market, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative technology tailored to the needs of National Security & Intelligence communities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales within the public sector, with a deep understanding of the unique operational requirements of this industry. As an expert in selling advanced technology or engineering solutions, you will be able to effectively communicate the value proposition of Gloo's offerings to senior government officials and technical teams alike.
As a key member of our sales team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Growth: Proactively identifying new opportunities and creating account plans to expand our presence within National Security & Intelligence and adjacent sectors.
- Customer Insight: Building detailed profiles of government agencies to understand their challenges, technical roadmaps, and programmatic needs.
- Sales Execution: Collaborating with our engineering, legal, and leadership teams to design tailored solutions, draft proposals, and secure multi-year government contracts.
- Relationship Building: Establishing trusted partnerships with senior decision-makers, positioning Gloo as a preferred supplier in the government sector.
- Market Representation: Representing Gloo at key industry events, effectively communicating our value proposition, and ensuring alignment with evolving sector needs.
- Pipeline Ownership: Managing complex, long sales cycles, from initial engagement to successful contract negotiation and delivery.
In addition to your sales expertise, you will also possess excellent communication skills, capable of drafting compelling proposals and influencing at all levels. A willingness to travel domestically and internationally is essential for this role.
