We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pastoral Support Assistant to join our team in a Secondary School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • To triage pastoral concerns under the guidance of the Assistant Headteachers and indicate appropriate pathways for students.
  • To act as Designated Deputy Safeguarding Lead within the school.
  • To refer cases to DSL, other DDSL, Heads of Year or Form Tutors as appropriate.
  • To ensure that students follow the school's high expectations, both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality pastoral care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this role is £22,722 - £24,302 (Kent Range KR6) or £21,804.39 - £22,894.31 actual salary for working TTO.
