About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Protection Specialist to join our team at ABM UK. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

As a Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing exceptional service and maintaining our reputation as a trusted partner in facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol designated areas of the premises and ensure the security and safety of employees, visitors, and property
  • Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities or incidents
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner and escalate as necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential security risks
  • Enforce access control policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of the premises
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver security awareness training programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and react quickly in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
