About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Nurse to join our Community Dermatology Team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to patients with dermatological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dermatology nursing care in a variety of settings, including community clinics and hospitals.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Conduct holistic assessments and provide evidence-based care to patients with dermatological conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, working within agreed guidelines and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with a strong background in dermatology or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of dermatology services and developments in primary care nationally and locally.
  • Desirable: Nurse prescribing qualification or a willingness to undertake, specialist dermatology qualification or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
