Dermatology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dermatology Nurse to join our Community Dermatology Team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to patients with skin conditions, working in partnership with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Specialist Dermatology Nursing Care: Work independently and collaboratively with the BNSSG Dermatology Team to provide holistic assessment and care to patients with skin conditions.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Deliver nursing management of dermatological conditions in a range of settings, working in partnership with other healthcare providers to ensure effective care and support.
- Contribute to Service Development: Contribute to setting standards of care and auditing clinical outcomes and service provision across the organisation.
- Prescribe and Administer Medication: Where appropriate, prescribe for patients using independent or supplementary nurse prescribing or request changes in medication directly from the patient's GP or Consultant.
- Referral and Communication: Make referrals to other healthcare professionals or agencies where appropriate, maintaining effective communication and feedback to the original referrer.
- Service Delivery and Quality Assurance: Ensure effective delivery of service and adhere to all policies of the organisation by prioritising, organising and delegating responsibilities and workloads.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Advanced practice skills and experience in dermatology nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local and national policies and guidelines
- Ability to prescribe and administer medication
