About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Winchester and Test Valley CAMHS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Family and Systemic Psychotherapy services to individuals, carers, families, and groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold and manage a clinical caseload, exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the planning and prioritizing of own workload and the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients.
- Use analytical and judgment skills to take clinical management decisions in complex clinical issues.
- Supervise Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Trainee Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Family and Systemic Practitioners, and other staff as appropriate.
- Provide Systemic Consultation to other members of the team/service and other professionals working with service users.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team working, development, and liaison.

Person Specification
Essential
- An AFT accredited postgraduate qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (or equivalent).
- Registration in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
- A recognized qualification in one of the core mental health professions recognized by the Association of Family Therapy (AFT): Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatry, Teaching (with substantial counselling experience), Mental Health Nursing, Arts Therapies, Counselling (BACP accredited), Occupational Therapy, or Speech and Language Therapy.
- Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
- Evidence of post-qualification training in clinical supervision.
Desirable
- Evidence of recognized post-qualification training in clinical supervision of Family and Systemic Psychotherapy.
