About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Twinings. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and warehousing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and drive electrical and controls system training for self and shift teams.
  • Ensure all software, programs, back-ups, and change logs are in place and kept up to date.
  • Subject Matter Expert for controls related equipment associated with capital projects.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across factory assets.
  • Assisting with root cause analysis (RCA) studies and follow up actions.
  • Installing and maintaining new systems as delivered to required standards
Requirements
  • Apprentice trained electrical/controls/automation engineer.
  • C&G/NVQ3 in electrical/controls engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in controls systems engineering.
  • Excellent working knowledge of control systems/automation/electrical engineering on manufacturing equipment - Warehousing / distribution / logistics / process / production lines.
  • A strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices
  • Computer literate in MS office package, ability to use a CMMS system.
