About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding Team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, working closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive safeguarding services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns.
  2. Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  3. Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive safeguarding services.
  4. Provide support and advocacy for adults at risk.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  6. Participate in case conferences and reviews.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in Adult safeguarding.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
