We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our safeguarding efforts at No Limits, a leading youth services charity in Southampton. As the Trustee – Safeguarding Lead, you will play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization, ensuring we remain committed to our mission, values, and objectives. Your expertise in safeguarding legislation, regulations, and statutory guidance will be invaluable in reviewing policies and procedures, and championing safeguarding throughout the Charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure our strategic plans and activities reflect the latest safeguarding best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and Designated Safeguarding Lead to review and update policies and procedures.
  • Champion safeguarding across the Charity, promoting a culture of safety and well-being for all staff, volunteers, and the children and young people we support.

This is a hybrid role, with quarterly meetings taking place both face-to-face in Southampton and online. You will have opportunities to access our extensive training program, develop your skills, and aid your professional development. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a positive impact on children and young people in your local community.
