The primary objective of this role is to oversee the overall administration and operation of the respective branch to maximize profits, ensure food, beverage, and service quality meet the required standards set by Cosmo. As a leader, you will direct and support the restaurant teams to maintain a high level of staff performance and engagement to ensure a great customer experience. You will also serve as the liaison between the individual restaurants and the Cosmo Restaurant Support Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Ensure superior customer service is provided by the respective branches.
- Monitor all steps of service and ensure the service standard set out in COSMO's SOPs are followed consistently.
- Respond to customer feedback efficiently and handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Management
- Conduct and monitor local recruitment activity to ensure the correct process is followed.
- Create a harmonious and caring working environment for all staff.
- Control staffing levels, including approval for additional or replacement staff, and oversee staff schedules.
- Brand Excellence
- Ensure the quality of food, beverage, and service provided are consistently maintained.
- Communicate with the Head Chef to ensure food prepared meets COSMO's standards.
- Walk all restaurants to check on set-up, service, food quality, and general maintenance.
- Communication
- Ensure the company's goals, targets, and strategies are communicated effectively to all levels.
- Share information from Head Office with restaurant teams to create day-to-day operation awareness.
- Restaurant Operations
- Work with COSMO's maintenance and project teams on all expenditure.
- Approve estimates for Repairs & Maintenance and follow up on projects.
- Business Performance
- Drive for achieving restaurant budget and financial results.
- Monitor and ensure labor cost is well controlled and labor Hospitality system is being consistently utilized.
- Investigate any discrepancies around stock inventory issues and cash shortages.
- Leadership Development
- Conduct Performance Reviews for management staff and address performance issues.
- Ensure top talents in the assigned branches are well engaged, motivated, and developed.
