Deputy General Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at COSMO Restaurant Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our restaurant operations and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Ensure that all aspects of restaurant operations are running smoothly, including food quality, service standards, and staff management.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve business objectives and develop plans to achieve them.
- Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of restaurant professionals to ensure that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and waste, to ensure that they are within company parameters.
- Ensure that all staff members are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our brand and drive sales.
- Perform other duties as required to support the success of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- High level of enthusiasm and energy, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Relevant qualifications, such as Health and Safety Level 2, Food Safety Level 3, First Aid, and Fire Marshall/Warden certification.
