Deputy General Manager Job Description

The Deputy General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our restaurant, COSMO. This dynamic individual is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of our business strategy, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the restaurant's daily operations, including employee selection, development, and performance. Optimize profits, control costs, and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain: Oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Team Management: Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee growth.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience, driving loyalty and repeat business.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth, implement strategies to increase revenue, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to recognize and resolve problems effectively, using good judgment and initiative.
  • Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
