Deputy General Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at COSMO Restaurant Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our restaurant and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all aspects of restaurant operations are running smoothly, including food quality, service standards, and staff management.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve business objectives, and to develop and implement plans to achieve them.
- Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of restaurant staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and overheads, to ensure that they are within budget.
- Ensure that all health and safety, food safety, and hygiene standards are met, and that the restaurant is compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that the restaurant is well-supported and that we are getting the best possible value for money.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and share knowledge and ideas with the team to ensure that we are always improving and innovating.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of enthusiasm and energy, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in hospitality or a related field, and/or a recognized hospitality management certification.
