The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Support Specialist to join our technical team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide advanced technical support and assistance to our clients, focusing on database and infrastructure aspects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support and assistance to clients in multiple hosting configurations.
  • Resolving complex website issues related to site and service configuration, application or security errors, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure cases are resolved within SLA commitments.
  • Communicating updates to customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Educating and providing recommendations to clients to improve client usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities

As a System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advanced technical support and assistance to clients.
  • Resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure case resolution.
  • Communicating updates to customers.
  • Educating and providing recommendations to clients.
Skills and Personal Attributes

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server operations and tuning.
  • Knowledge of web services and network technologies.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
