Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill the role of Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner, working as part of our urgent care team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist mental health care to patients via telephone triage, using advanced telephone assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
  • To work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Mandatory qualifications: Member of the Health Professions Council (HPC) or member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council (UK), Registered Paramedic or General Mental Health Nurse.
  • Desirable qualifications: Emergency Care Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner (or equivalent) or Level 6 Telephone Triage and Assessment Module Formal mentoring qualification.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
