The Adult Forensic Service are delighted offer an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced and passionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to support the Head of Operations and Head of Quality and Nursing in developing, leading and implementing a service Advanced Practice Strategy. The post holder will provide specialised, expert advice, education and strong leadership in order to improve the patient experience.

We are looking for an experienced band 8A ACP, ready to progress in their leadership journey. You will demonstrate expert clinical judgement and critical decision-making skills based upon evidence-based practice and work collaboratively with the wider AFS multi-disciplinary professional leads.

You will be a highly skilled, innovative and passionate individual who will lead on service quality, ACPs as a professional group and ensuring the four pillars of Advanced Practice are strategically positioned in the AFS ACP workforce.

The Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner will provide managerial and professional leadership for the Advanced Clinical Practitioner team within the Adult Forensic Service, including supporting trainee advanced practitioners throughout their educational programme.
