About the Role

At Avery Healthcare, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator. Your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
Plan and submit a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
Arrange activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

About You

To be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must have experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting, effective communication skills, verbal and written, and a positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
