National CRM Leadership and Strategy Director

We're seeking an exceptional National CRM Leadership and Strategy Director, reporting to the General Manager, to drive clinical excellence and therapy development in the UK & Ireland. This leadership role will involve providing 1st line management to a team of clinical and education professionals, ensuring aligned activity with regional sales plans, and delivering clinical excellence effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance organization, selecting, training, and developing the team, including all formal HR activities.
- Ensure Clinical Specialist Managers deliver aligned activity with regional sales plans and meet agreed standards.
- Deliver clinical excellence effectiveness by planning relevant deployments, coaching team members, and intervening when necessary to address non-compliance or underperformance.
- Stay updated on the CRM market, emerging trends, and document market information related to growth rates, market shares, and competitive information.
- Objectively assess CRM organization capabilities and identify potential for development in terms of competitive advantage, market coverage, brand image, and cost structure.
- Support Therapy Development vision and strategy, delivering market growth in Conduction System Pacing and Leadless Pacing in line with the market expansion plan.
- Build strong relationships with external decision influencers, including local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), to encourage continuous input on conventional therapies and technologies.
- Specify organizational design and headcount required to achieve strategic and operating goals in light of local business conditions and forecasts.
- Regularly re-evaluate performance against forecasts and budgets, taking timely action to meet agreed targets.
- Operate ethically and discipline-driven, advocating for self-development and encouraging coaching and feedback from the General Manager and broader leadership.
Your Background
- A Degree in life science or equivalent.
- Medical sales experience in an appropriate area is required, with marketing experience being a strong preference.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, ideally with prior experience of first-line leadership in a relevant industry.
- Market expansion or therapy development experience is a preference.
- Strong communication skills.
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and problem solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
