SEND Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team as a SEND Teacher. This role involves delivering personalized lessons to students with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) in a supportive school environment.

About the Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will work closely with students aged 5 to 16 who have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). You will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of your students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students with SEND, focusing on individualized instruction and student-centered learning.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEND education and incorporate innovative approaches into your teaching.
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Experience working with students with SEND or a strong passion for SEND education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
