We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Glasgow, supporting individuals with younger onset dementia.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals to maintain their skills and independence, participating in therapeutic activities and enjoying social stimulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with younger onset dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and carers.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Positive approach to dementia.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring attitude and willingness to learn.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with people with dementia.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle during working time.
