Dementia Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Community Activity Organiser in Dumfries.
As a Community Activity Organiser, you will play a vital role in providing front-line support to individuals with dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
You will work closely with our team to develop and lead activities that cater to the preferences and needs of our service users, focusing on maintaining their skills and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals to engage in their interests and hobbies
- Developing and leading activities to promote brain health
- Working collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality service
We are looking for someone with a positive approach to dementia, excellent communication skills, and a caring attitude. Relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with people with dementia are desirable.
