Allied & Clinical Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dementia Care Support Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We offer a competitive salary of £18-22 per hour, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with clients with Dementia in a care home setting, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules. A driving licence is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, non-judgmental, and able to maintain optimism and patience when supporting individuals with Dementia. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality support to clients with Dementia in a care home setting
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place
• Adapt to changing client needs and work schedules as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with clients with Dementia in a care home setting
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with Dementia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules
