Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to cover the Bristol region. The ideal candidate will have a background in general construction sales or hire, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of Managed Account Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching key business sectors and presenting plans to achieve budgets and grow revenue profitably.
  • Dealing effectively and promptly with sales leads from across the business.
  • Maintaining and increasing revenue for the territory to achieve and exceed on budgets.
  • Negotiating contracts and framework agreements with new clients within agreed parameters.
  • Providing regular updates and forecasts on pipeline, projects and frameworks to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • Prior sales role(s) and proven influencing and negotiation ability.
  • An understanding of crane hire and the market is helpful but not essential, but a technical sales background is preferred.
  • A high achiever who is career orientated and likes to work to challenging goals.
  • IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office products- Particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
