The salary range for this position at AWE Nuclear Security Technologies is £90,000 - £130,000 per year.

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for an AWE Nuclear Security Technologist to cover on-site Major Capital Projects, from concept design stages through to construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Risk Assessment and Governance methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and maintaining risk assessment and governance frameworks.
  • Providing expert advice on Major Capital Projects and/or Construction sites, ensuring adherence to key safety operation principles and associated legislation.
  • Driving flexible, innovative and creative solutions to complex problems, balancing team, stakeholder and organisational priorities.
  • Creating and delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance for the role.
  • Enjoying 270 hours annual leave.
  • Participating in a contributory pension scheme.
