Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Support and Guidance Officer to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team.

This role involves serving as the first point of contact for parents and carers, Integrated Children's Services (ICS), Education settings, and multi-agency partners, providing advice and guidance on SEND-related matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient responses to requests for advice and information, adhering to the ICS Front Door procedures.

Prompt and accurate communication is essential, with careful tracking of responses to ensure timely resolution.

A minimum of experience in the public, private, or voluntary sector, combined with a solid understanding of current SEN legislation and its application within Kent, is necessary for this role.

This position falls under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016), requiring a strong command of spoken English. A Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service is also required.

Expected salary range: £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
