Job Summary

**Early Years Support Assistant**

Main Responsibilities

As an Early Years Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality care and education to young children
  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Collaborating with teachers and educators to ensure a comprehensive curriculum
Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in early childhood education (SVQ 2 Children's Care Learning and Development at SCQF Level 2 or equivalent)
  • An SVQ 2 Social Services (Children and Young People) or a related qualification (SCQF Level 6 or equivalent)
  • Experience working with young children in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Hours and Benefits

This is a permanent post with 22.2 hours per week, not term time. The work pattern includes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with various shifts between 8am and 6pm. We offer a competitive salary of £9.50-£10.25 per hour, depending on experience, and additional benefits including:
