**Early Years Support Assistant**
Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Early Years Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality care and education to young children
- Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Collaborating with teachers and educators to ensure a comprehensive curriculum
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in early childhood education (SVQ 2 Children's Care Learning and Development at SCQF Level 2 or equivalent)
- An SVQ 2 Social Services (Children and Young People) or a related qualification (SCQF Level 6 or equivalent)
- Experience working with young children in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a permanent post with 22.2 hours per week, not term time. The work pattern includes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with various shifts between 8am and 6pm. We offer a competitive salary of £9.50-£10.25 per hour, depending on experience, and additional benefits including:
- Enrolment in the local government pension scheme
- Up to 33 days annual leave (calculated in hours)
- Public holiday entitlement (up to 10 days)
