Resident Care Lead Job Description
In this critical role, you will oversee the implementation of care plans, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. As a Resident Care Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Care Assistants, monitoring their performance, and providing coaching and guidance when needed. Your expertise in recognizing signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect will be instrumental in preventing and addressing these issues promptly. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns that may arise. A key aspect of this position is building strong relationships with our residents, their families, and other stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently. Your ability to work collaboratively with the team and promote a positive work environment will make you a valuable asset to our organization.

Salary and Benefits
As a Resident Care Lead, you can expect a salary of approximately £26,000 per annum, reflecting your critical role in shaping the lives of our residents. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a free uniform, Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG, and access to a company pension scheme. You will also enjoy 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, Group life assurance cover, and Wagestream – a financial wellbeing program providing flexible access to pay. Moreover, you will have access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program and be eligible for recognition schemes such as 'Kindness in Care' and Long Service Awards. Our refer a friend scheme offers up to £1000 per referral, depending on the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should hold a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be committed to pursuing further education and training. Your ability to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and take prompt action will be essential in safeguarding our residents. Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently are also crucial in this position. As a Resident Care Lead, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the team, maintain accurate records, and promote a positive work environment.
