Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage complex cases, including cleft lip and palate, and provide expert nursing care to children and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Provide education and support to families, including pre- and post-operative care, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practices, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the creation of care pathways, patient information, and educational resources.
- NMC Registration as a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Child.
- Post-registration qualification in a relevant specialty, such as pediatric nursing or plastic surgery.
- Experience working with acutely and chronically ill children and young people, including those with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize clinical caseload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
