Nursery Nurse / Room Leader Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse or Room Leader to join our team at a high-quality Nursery School near Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care to young children, fostering their development, safety, and welfare.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all children have access to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, planning and implementing activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Contribute to the positive management of children's behaviour, understanding and implementing the Nursery School's safeguarding policy and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to plan, prepare, and deliver activities that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those with Special Educational Needs.
  • Develop an awareness and understanding of religious, ethnic, and cultural differences, incorporating these into activities and the daily routine of the nursery.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children, attending and participating in nursery staff meetings as required.
