About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the implementation of an electronic prescribing and administration (ePMA) system for Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) Community Hospitals. As a Senior Nurse for Digital Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and safe utilization of the EPMA system.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and professionals to implement the EPMA system
  • Use specialist knowledge and experience to test, develop, and configure systems
  • Provide advice to Ward Managers, Ward staff, and other clinical staff on effective and efficient workflows for the project implementation and roll-out of the EPMA system
  • Facilitate and participate in the delivery of specialist training to Registered Nurses, Consultants, Doctors, Pharmacy, Therapy staff, and other specialties who will interact with the EPMA system
  • Support the EPMA team to undertake a review of policies and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that these are written and ratified before implementation of the EPMA system
