Role Overview

As a key member of the Raytheon Systems team, you will play a critical role in managing commercial relationships with customers, developing engagement strategies, and leading negotiations to drive innovative solutions. This dynamic role requires a unique blend of business acumen, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests for proposals, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop effective responses.
  • Support the Commercial team in preparing and implementing commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and template contracts.
  • Collaborate with Programme and Business Development teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities throughout the prospecting and bidding process.
  • Work closely with the business finance function to manage invoicing and cash collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement activities to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with export controls, GDPR, and other relevant regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of policy requirements and gate process procedures.
Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A business degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of contract management and procurement principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • A self-motivated and independent individual, with a willingness to travel occasionally within the UK.
Desirable Skills

While not essential, the following skills would be highly desirable:

  • Awareness of data protection and other relevant commercial and contract legislation.
  • Experience with business process management tools, such as IPDS or SAP.
