About the Role:
As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of customer engagement strategies, leading negotiations, and influencing innovative solutions. Your day-to-day activities will involve dealing with internal governance and financial performance, as well as meeting customer queries, bids, and demands across the globe. You will be the interface between our business and customers, ensuring that contractual commitments and changes are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial team in preparing responses to complex Requests for Proposal/ITT/PQQs.
- Provide support to Programme and Business Development teams throughout the prospecting and bidding process.
- Assist the business finance function in managing the invoicing and cash collection process.
- Complete all commercial functional requirements from cradle-to-grave on supply contracts.
- Work with business teams to meet central targets and local challenges.
- Understand policy requirements for the gate process and provide input to gate packs.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Business degree or equivalent experience.
- A willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the UK.
Desirable:
- Awareness of Data Protection and other relevant commercial and contract legislation.
- Familiarity with business process management tools (IPDS, SAP or similar) and the competitive bidding process.
