We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team.

This role involves supporting a young man with Autism and other medical conditions, such as epilepsy, mental health challenges, and mobility limitations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist him with his daily living needs and healthcare requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and other aspects of daily living.
  • Administer medication as instructed (experience preferred).
  • Engage in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance quality of life.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with Autism and other medical conditions is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and making a positive difference in someone's life.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable interacting with dogs, as there is a pet dog in residence.
